Ronald B. Kuppersmith, M.D.
Otolaryngology, Head and Neck SurgeryRon Kuppersmith, MD, FACS, is a board certified Otolaryngologist and has practiced in Bryan-College Station since 2003. He also works in Huntsville and Rockdale. He is a clinical faculty member of the Texas A&M Health Science Center. From 1999 to 2003, he practiced in Seattle, Washington at the Virginia Mason Medical Center, a tertiary care center for otolaryngology-head and neck surgery and served on the clinical faculty of the University of Washington Medical School.
Dr. Kuppersmith currently serves on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery as the Secretary/Treasurer and on the Board of Trustees of the College Station Medical Center. He has received numerous awards including being selected for the "Guide to America'™s Top Physicians" by the Consumers'™ Research Council of America from 2003-2006, and an Honor Award from the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He serves on the Editorial Boards of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Laryngoscope, Internet Medicine and ENT Journal. He has given over 80 invited lectures in the United States, Europe, and South America.
Dr. Kuppersmith is a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, American Academy of Sleep Medicine, Texas Medical Association, Texas Association of Otolaryngology, and the Brazos-Robertson County Medical Society.
Dr. Kuppersmith attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor for his undergraduate degree and for medical school. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas which included service at the Methodist Hospital, St. Luke'™s Hospital, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Texas Childrens Hospital, Ben Taub General Hospital and the Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
